Nachdem ich schon einen richtigen galizischen Tag erlebt hatte, nahmen wir es die nächsten Tage etwas ruhiger und genossen das herrliche Sommerwetter. Tagsüber stieg das Thermometer auf 30 Grad und in der Nacht fiel es auf 16 Grad. Das bedeutete, dass man herrlich schlafen konnte! Auch die Wassertemperaturen stiegen täglich, jedenfalls nach meinem Empfinden! : )
 

After I had already experienced a real Galician day, we took it a little quieter the next few days and enjoyed the beautiful summer weather. During the day the thermometer rose up to 30 centigrade and at night it dropped down to 16 degrees. That meant that we slept wonderfully! Also the water temperatures rose every day, at least according to my feeling! : )

Ich erkundigte die nähere Umgebung besuchte die herrlichen Buchten mit ihren weissen Stränden umgeben von grossen Felsbrocken. Nach meiner Berechnung gibt es 17 Strände hier in Sanxenxo… Überall im relativ ruhigen Gewässer werden die Mejillones (Miesmuscheln) gezüchtet.
 

Ansonsten lief der Tag im üblichen Rhythmus ab, immer mit einem üppigen Mittagessen, wonach man zu nichts ausser einer Siesta imstande ist…
 

I inspected the surrounding area and visited the beautiful bays with their white beaches surrounded by big rocks. According to my calculations, there are 17 beaches here in Sanxenxo... Everywhere in the relatively calm waters mejillones (mussels) are cultivated.

For the rest, the days proceeded in the usual rhythm, always with a sumptuous lunch, after which one is able to nothing but a siesta...

Mit Eva war ich am Montag am Wochenmarkt in Portonovo, wo nicht nur Kleidung sondern auch Spezialitäten aus der Region angeboten werden. Wir kauften unter anderem das fantastische Pan Aleman – da braucht man sonst echt nichts dazu!

On Monday I visited with Eva the weekly market in Portonovo, where there are sold not only clothes but also specialties from the region. Among other things we bought one of those fantastic pan aleman - you really need anything else with it!
